This Privacy Policy explains how SnapZilla collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data. We operate as nightlife photographers across Plymouth and occasionally at family and community events. We are committed to handling your information lawfully and transparently under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What personal data we collect

Website visitors

When you visit snapzilla.co.uk, our platform (Pixieset) may collect technical data including your IP address, browser type, and device information, as well as cookies and usage data.

Customers purchasing photos

  • Your name and email address
  • Delivery address (for printed product orders)
  • Payment information — processed securely by third-party providers; we never store your card details
  • Your order history and purchase records

Photographic images

SnapZilla photographs people at the venues listed above. If you are photographed, your image may be uploaded to our Pixieset gallery and made available for purchase. Photography is always conducted openly by staff in SnapZilla-branded clothing. You are never obligated to be photographed or to purchase an image.

Children and families

At venues or events where children and families may be present, we take additional care. We will not photograph anyone who appears to be under 18 without clear parental or guardian consent. If you are a parent or guardian and would like an image of your child removed, please contact us immediately and we will delete it without question.

Enquiries and messages

If you contact us by phone, email, Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp, we will collect your name, contact details, and the content of your message.

Our legal basis for photographing people at venues is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. Photography is always conducted openly and in a clearly branded capacity. You can ask us not to photograph you, or to delete an existing image, at any time — and we will always comply immediately.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following third parties only where necessary to deliver our services:

Pixieset Website and gallery platform — hosts photos and processes orders on our behalf
Payment processors Secure payment handling — we never receive or store your card details
Royal Mail / Click & Drop Delivery of printed photo products to your address
PrintZilla (printzilla.uk) Fulfilment of personalised photo product orders
R. Perks Finance Our accountant — processes financial records only
HMRC Where required by law for tax purposes

We do not transfer your data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards.
